is the premiere on-camera actor training facility of
the Capital District. ETS's founders have combined
industry experience of 25 years. Both have maintained excellent reputations
in the industry and are eager to share their knowledge.
Christy Lee Hughes
is a professional actress, dancer, voice-over artist
and teacher. She is a member in excellent standing with Screen Actors Guild,
and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. She graduated with
a BA in Communication from the University at Albany. She also earned an AAS
in Paralegal Studies from SCCC. Christy Lee has a ton of experience in front
of the camera working on Major Studio Films, Independent Feature Films,
Commercials and Television Series. She has been chosen to work with some of
Hollywood's Award-winning directors such as, Steven Spielberg, Bill Condon,
Arthur Ginsberg and Joe Pytka. Recent work includes a principal role in the
IBM Commercial, "What Makes YOU Special?" as well as playing opposite Thora
Birch in a scene for the feature film, "Winter of Frozen Dreams". She has
also played the Leading role of Beauty in the National Children's Theater
TOUR of Beauty & The Beast. Christy Lee has studied acting in both Manhattan
and Hollywood. She has a undying passion for the arts and has been
continuously requested to teach acting to fellow aspiring actors. Christy
has a strong work ethic and always puts 110% into everything she does.
Christy Lee has just earned and accepted the Critic's Choice Award for BEST
ACTRESS at the 2007 Edwood Film Festival for her role of Anna in "Amerikan
Partizan" Directed by Tobias Seamon. Christy Lee can also be seen playing
Janice in the film "Predisposed" written by Phil Dorling and Ron Nyswaner,
currently in post production.
Kevin Craig West
is a director, producer and professional union actor,
working in film, television, radio and stage. Kevin's experience in front of
the camera is what helped lead him to his interest behind the camera. "Let's
make a film," were the only words needed for his production company, MoBetta
Films, to spring into existence. Project Mo(u)rning, the inaugural project
from MoBetta Films, was nominated one of the top five submissions to the San
Francisco Black Independent Film Festival. Selected by IFP Rough Cut Lab,
Lake Placid Film Forum, Urbanworld VIBE Film Festival, The Pan African
Film Festival and Nashville Film Festival is The Assassin, where Kevin served as an Actor,
Cinematographer and Producer. Directed by Rehema Imani Trimiew and produced
by Kevin is the feature length documentary, Inspirations of Life, which
documents the lives of foster kids in Rochester, NY transitioning into
adulthood compared to kids in Tikodane, Zambia. Also in development is the
docu-drama, I’m Going to Dance, written by Erika Kirtaglou, based on her
book of the same title. For his production of promotional media for Erika as
well as aiding in the publication of her book, Kevin received consecutive
year Silent Angel Awards from The Brain Injury Association of New York
State. Kevin is a member of The Barrow Group in NYC, Chair member of Upstate
Independents and in addition to being a Voice Acting Trainer and Producer
with VoiceCoaches, he also works as a Teacher/Artist with Symphony Space.
Recent acting projects include a lead in the short, Distractions, (written
and produced by Kevin), as well as lead roles in the films, Detour, Man Up!
and Haiku King. Also look for him as the Deputy Director of Homeland
Security in UnCivil Liberties, recently released nationwide on DVD.
